Orkla India IPO Allotment Goes Live: Here’s How to Check Your Status

DIY TRENDS

The allotment status for the much-awaited Orkla India Limited Initial Public Offering (IPO) has been finalised and is now live.

Investors who subscribed to the IPO during its three-day window from October 29 to October 31, 2025, can now check their allotment results online.

The IPO received a remarkable response from investors across all categories, reflecting strong confidence in the company’s growth potential and market positioning.

Strong Subscription Demand

Orkla India’s IPO was oversubscribed nearly 48.7 times, making it one of the most sought-after public issues of the season.

  • Qualified Institutional Buyers subscribed around 117.63 times.

  • Non-Institutional Investors subscribed 54.42 times.

  • Retail investors subscribed 7.05 times.

This overwhelming demand underscores significant investor interest, though it also means that the allotment for retail applicants will be highly competitive, with many likely receiving partial or no allotment.

Key Dates and Process

According to the schedule, the basis of allotment was completed on November 3, 2025. Refunds for unallotted investors and the credit of shares to successful applicants’ demat accounts will take place on November 4, 2025.

The company’s shares are set to debut on both the BSE and NSE on November 6, 2025.

About the Orkla India IPO

The Orkla India IPO was entirely a 100 percent Offer for Sale (OFS), meaning the proceeds will go to existing shareholders rather than the company itself.

Such a structure typically appeals to investors when the selling shareholders are long-term backers or strategic investors, as it indicates confidence in the company’s future operations.

Market Expectations Ahead of Listing

Analysts expect Orkla India to make a strong stock market debut on November 6, driven by its strong brand reputation, diversified business portfolio, and encouraging investor sentiment.

The grey market premium (GMP) ahead of listing also points to potential listing gains for investors who secured allotments.
