Construction is underway on a Sh1 billion cancer centre in Kenya to help treat the cancer menace currently affecting thousands of Kenyans.
The Hospital being constructed in the North-Western part of the countryby Mediheal Group of Hospitals be ready in 18 months says oe Kirwa, the Business Development for Mediheal Group.
He said that the centre will offer comprehensive management of different types of cancers under one roof.
“Kenyans will no longer be travelling to the United Kingdom or India to get specialised cancer treatment. We will be treating them here in Kenya,” said Kirwa.
