Italian construction firm Veronafiere is on a fact finding mission in Cameroon with the aim of establishing its presence in the country’s construction industry.
A delegation of entrepreneurs from the construction company under the umbrella of Veronafiere will be visiting two major towns in Cameroon to asses their economic viability.
The visit to Yaounde and Douala will see the entrepreneurs have a B2B meetings with professionals, partners, distributors/potential customers and field visits in enterprises, institutions and local institutions. The move by Italian construction firm Veronafiere comes after successful investment in the Eastern Africa region.

Commenting on why they choose Cameroon, Veronafiere says the country is a strategic gateway to countries without access to sea like Chad and the republic of Central Africa.
“From Cameroon we intend to reach a market of 300 million potential customers in the Cemac zone,” said the company in a statement.
Veronafiere is positioning itself to benefit from major projects in Cameroon in 2018 as a result of a major African football tournament(AFCON) that the country will host in 2019.
The company hopes to leverage on its expertise in the construction industry to help deliver social housings, hotels, stadiums, and malls in Cameron.
