Solar & Storage Live MENA to open its doors on 29-30 May for its 5th edition and is set to welcome 5,000 domestic and international attendees, 150 exhibitors and 150 speakers for the largest event in North Africa.

Solar & Storage Live MENA, the biggest gathering of the solar industry in North Africa, anticipates welcoming over 5000 domestic and international visitors on May 29-30, 2024, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo.

As the region’s premier event celebrating its 5th edition, attendees can expect an immersive experience designed to accelerate MENA’s transition towards a sustainable solar future while nurturing crucial connections and collaborations.

Representatives from key organizations such as the Ministry of Electricity & Renewable Energy, Egypt Electricity Holding Company, Egypt Electricity Transmission Company, New & Renewable Energy Authority, Ministry of Planning, and Ministry of Military Production will be present, offering valuable networking opportunities.

The expo floor offers the unique opportunity for attendees to discover the latest solutions driving change in the solar industry across the MENA region.

The free-to-attend exhibition will feature over 150 domestic and international brands, providing a range of solar solutions from Ministry of electricity and renewable energy, SUNGROW Power Supply, LONGi Solar Technology, Huawei , Suntech, AESOLAR, Astronergy, Beneshty, Solar Space Power along with a multitude of other solutions such as Developers, PV Suppliers, PV Mounting & Support Systems, Operations & Maintenance, Inverters, EPC Contractors, PV Manufacturing & Components, Energy Storage and Battery Technologies, Distributors & Resellers, Energy Management Solutions, and Clean Generation Solutions & Components.

Alongside the exhibition, attendees will have access to the multi-track conference, spanning across 2 action-packed days. Solar & Storage Live MENA 2024 presents a dynamic conference featuring over 150 expert speakers covering a diverse range of topics, from energy alternatives to technological advancements and solar integration.

Among these speakers are distinguished individuals such as Eman Abd El Khalek, Head of the Renewable & Hydrogen Private Power Projects Sector at the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, who will lead a fireside chat on Egypt’s green energy transition, with a focus on investment projects in wind energy.

Nidal Abdalla, Manager of the Bio Energy and Wind Energy Division at the Royal Scientific Society of Jordan, will contribute to a panel discussion exploring the expanding Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) market and its industrial applications.

Amr Abdalla, a Carbon Trading & Energy Transition Professional, will offer insights into developing net-zero roadmaps and legislative frameworks for sustainable energy transitions.

Mona Abdel Aziz Ismail, Head of the Sustainable Development Unit at the Smart Green Project Accelerators for Female Entrepreneurs, will deliver a presentation on empowering women in renewable energy. Nermine Abdel Gelil Mohamed, Founder/Director of MSA CoEA, will present innovative approaches to sustainable architecture, with a focus on rural housing.

Yasser Abdel-Hadi, Head of the Solar Research Laboratory at the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) will contribute insights to a panel discussion on the expanding CSP market and its industrial applications.

Additionally, Ambassador Hisham Badr, General Coordinator for the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects, will provide expertise on Egypt’s sustainable energy initiatives, highlighting the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing climate change challenges and promoting renewable energy adoption.
