We are happy and proud to announce that Danfoss Drives has won an iF DESIGN AWARD 2023 for our new iC7 series. The iC7 series won in the discipline ‘Product’, in the category ‘Industry and Tools’.

Since 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been recognized as an arbiter of quality for excellent design. The iF Design brand is renowned worldwide for outstanding design services, and the iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most important design prizes in the world.

It is therefore no surprise that winning the award brings a smile on the face of Kjell Stroem, Head of Sales & Marketing at Danfoss Drives.

“I’m quite honored and proud that our new iC7 series has won an iF DESIGN AWARD. Our team – together with Design-People – has done some fantastic work to create a new and attractive design for this series. It is a seal of quality for the iC7 series, and it’s one we are very happy to receive,” he says.

The iC7 series won over the 133-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its outstanding design based on user centered development, versatility, and intelligence.

The award was given to Danfoss Drives at the iF DESIGN AWARD NIGHT 2023 in Berlin. Accepting the award on behalf of everyone involved in the iC7 series design and development was Nina Wetcke, User Experience Manager, Søren Lassen, Scrum Master, and Lone Harvest, People Leader, Control Circuit Engineering. All three have been instrumental in the development process.

The iC7 series was designed by Danfoss Drives in collaboration with Design-People.
