Super rich Kenyans and visiting billionaires are the main target of a newly completed Sh 5 billion resort in the tourist town of Kilifi, project assistant manager Howard Hu has said.
The Sultan Palace Beach Resort, constructed by Chinese firm China Jiangxi Construction Company, sits on a 43-acre beach front in Kikambala only 25km from Mombasa town.
The residential complex has a total pf 200 housing units. Villas facing the Indian Ocean will go for Sh80 million while standalone townhouses will cost Sh36 million. Others such as the two- and one-bedroomed apartments will be valued at between Sh10 million to Sh20 million respectively.
“The houses provide super rich Kenyans and tourists with a holiday home that is also an investment. We shall link the houses to the soon to be built hotel complex on the remaining 23-acre parcel of land. We have a water treatment plant and a standby generator that will ensure round the clock supply of water and electricity to our residents,” said Mr Hu.
